AIS in Raymarine C80 display

A good example of yatch navigating system is the Raymarine C-80. This is a very versatile system that also allows to show AIS targets and associated information.

AIS data must be transmitted from a receiver or transponder such as the Trueheading CTRX. These data are coded according to the NMEA-0183 standard and are transmitted at 38.400 bps.
